Course Code: Third Grade
Ms. Wilde's Third Grade Class
A typical day in third grade always begins with a greeting at the door, turning in homework, quiet seating and prayer. We take the opportunity to begin our schedule with Religion where we learn about Jesus's life and ministry, as well as having visits from Father John, Deacon Jim, Mrs. Kolo or Mrs. Sockol.
In third grade, we practice perfecting our cursive handwriting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, reading in stories, and spelling challenging new words.
We also learn how important English grammar and writing are and dive into topics in Science and Social Studies..
Third grade is where the students transition into learning to accept each other's differences, and respect each other's opinions by working together in group settings as well as independently.
