Vision and Hearing Screenings

If your student is included in the mandated program, you will receive a notice in their Friday Folder this week. State mandates that all NEW AND TRANSFER students have a vision & hearing screening, unless said student provides a report indicating that an examination has been administered within the previous 12 months.
“Vision screening is not a substitute for a complete eye and vision evaluation by an eye doctor. Your child is not required to undergo this vision screening if an optometrist or ophthalmologist has completed and signed a report indicating that an examination has been administered within the previous 12 months and that evaluation is on file at the school.”
**Please let us know if your student has been examined by an optometrist within the last 12 months**

The school office carries a variety of scrip cards and can order almost anything. Go to www.glscrip.com or www.shopwithscrip.com for the complete list. The school receives different percentages back on each card purchased. If you know you’ll be shopping at a specific store (ie shopnsave, etc) or dining at a specific restaurant (ie olive garden, etc), or paying your store charge (ie kohl’s, etc), please think about purchasing them from school. Thanks for your support!
SCHNUCKS E-SCRIP CARD:
If you don’t have one, contact the school office and we will get one to you. You only have to have them scan it at the time of your checkout – That’s it! Pretty easy, isn’t it?
