8th Grade Fundraiser – Quarter Auction
What You Will Need – If your child plans on participating in the quarter auction, they will either need to bring lots of quarters for the items they would like to bid on, or $10 will get them a paddle to bid on everything. From past experience, if possible, it is better to send $10, and that way the children have a chance at every item up for bid.
If you are going to purchase a paddle, please send the $10 in by Wednesday, February 3rd.
How To Play
– Each child participating will have a paddle with a number on it. Coordinating numbers are put in a container to be read off during auction.
– An item will be held up to show the children what is being auctioned off. If your child would like to bid, they will need to put a quarter in the milk jug, and hold their paddle up before the auction begins for that item. If they paid the $10, they just automatically hold the paddle up.
– When a random number is called, it will go to the winner that has that number.
Obviously this is a game of chance, so not everyone is going to win and/or some children may win more than one prize. This year we will have candy to give out to the kids that do not win, so they don’t feel left out in any way.
If there are any questions, please send fast direct Kathy Williams or Georgia Wilde.

Winners will be paid in SCRIP and will be as follows: 1st Quarter – $200, Halftime – $400, 3rd Quarter – $200, and Final – $600. Thanks for your support of SSPP’s Athletic Fund!
