Debbie Popovchak-Erickson

Debbie is dual certified in both Music Education and Elementary Education (a graduate of SIU-E). She has taught for over 20 years in the Springfield Diocese. Debbie lives in Granite City, has one son, Jeremy. She also serves as organist/choir director at Holy Angels in Wood River, IL. Her music background includes singing for 14 seasons with the St. Louis Symphony Chorus (retired for Jeremy), teaching private piano and voice, studying Music through Syracuse University at L’Ecole Hindemith in Vevey, Switzerland, performing throughout Europe on a concert tour with SIU-E Concert Chorale, and performing in “A Christmas Carol” at Granite City High School.

Debbie’s hobbies are sewing, needle crafts and reading.
