Principal’s Notes

I want to bring to your attention a part of the uniform code that is becoming an issue. On non-uniform days, girls are wearing leggings and or skin tight pants. These are not allowed unless worn under a skirt or jumper. Long sweaters or tops have to reach at least mid thigh to be considered appropriate. Starting Tuesday, we will warn the student and send you a message. On the second offense, you will need to bring appropriate clothing for a change. Some other issues involve ripped clothing and inappropriate shoes. No clothing that is ripped, whether intentional or not is ever allowed. Shoes should be of the athletic variety and safe to use in the gym for PE. Snow boots need to be removed upon arrival at school. Students should wear a long-sleeved jacket or coat to school. If the student wants to wear an acceptable sweatshirt during the school day, they must have a separate jacket for outside. We go outside for recess unless the wind chill is below 15 degrees.

We are still in the process of switching over phone systems. Lines may go down for a time, especially in the Latchkey. If you can’t get through, please dial the school office or try Fast Direct. We have to boost the Wi-Fi for the gym, cafeteria, Morris Hall, and the church.

We have entered the solemn season of Lent. During these next forty days, we will be collecting boxes of granola bars and fruit cups. These will be sent to the SOS Soup kitchen. We will be collecting until March 23rd.

Don’t forget our Trivia Night on Saturday, February 27th. Our Golf Tournament will be Friday, May 13th.
