Dear Parents,
I cannot believe that I will only have one more newsletter to you for this school year. How time flies when you are having fun!
Our students enjoyed a presentation on Support Dogs. Students loved petting the dogs.

Field Day – On May 14th we will be doing a field day with all the students.
Mrs. Megan Fernandez has graciously offered to chair this new event for us. We are looking for parents to help with different activities. I hope that we can have a type of field day event sponsored by each grade level. (Like the Mission Carnival) Our goal is that the students will have fun on this day and get some exercise. If you could help with this event please let Mrs. Fernandez know.
Dad’s Mass –
What a beautiful representation of our Dad to honor. Thanks, Dads for sharing Mass with us! Some of the Dads talked about their jobs when back into the classrooms. It was a great day!
Congratulations to Mrs. Buehler for being chosen best teacher during National Teacher Appreciation Week by Empower Illinois parents.
Congratulations to our

Helping the Poor
Recently Gracie W. and Kolin W. made
cards and sold them to family members
to make money to give to the homeless.
At Mass today, Gracie explained what
she and Kolin had done and Kolin
presented Mr. & Mrs. Fraze,
representatives of the St. Vincent
DePaul Food Pantry, a check for
$27.00. We are so proud of you both.
Thank you for your thoughtfulness!
Important Characters made by the Third grade students! Good job! Students had to give a report on their character.
End of the Year – Final Friday folder will be sent home on
Wednesday, May 15th. It will have my last Principal’s Pen, a copy
of the supply list for next school year, a revised Dress Code, and a school calendar that will be a tentative calendar because I do not have all the dates set yet. Report cards for students in grades Pre-School – Seventh grade can be picked up in the Gathering Space after all the Masses on the weekend of May 25th and 26th. Teachers need time to grade finals and enter grades.
