Yankee Candle Voluntary Fundraiser
Information on our Fall Fundraiser was included in your student’s Friday Folders last week. SSPP will receive 40% back on every $1 spent. Please make checks payable to SSPP. Fundraiser begins 9/14 and ends 9/28.

Picture Day Regulations:
Students may wear any type of outfit that is appropriate for a Catholic grade school. Skirt length may not be shorter than 2” above the knee. Skirts and blouses may not be revealing. Slacks may not be skin tight. Students may wear dress shoes. Flip-flops, open-backed shoes, Crocs and boots are not allowed. Boots may NOT be worn in school on any day, including non-uniform days and picture days.
UNACCEPTABLE: short skirts, short shorts, skin tight clothing of any type, un-hemmed shorts, boxer-type underwear shorts, hooded sweatshirts, sweat pants, baggy or wide leg jeans, tank tops, midriffs, halters, spaghetti strap tops, low-cut blouses or dresses, shorts below the knee, T-shirts with inappropriate pictures or messages. Ripped clothing may not be worn to school on any day, including non-uniform days.
IN ADDITION:
1) IF DRESS SHOES ARE WORN, STUDENTS SHOULD BRING ATHLETIC SHOES TO
CHANGE INTO. A COMPLETE CHANGE OF CLOTHES IS NOT ALLOWED.
2) IF YOU ARE UNSURE IF A PIECE OF CLOTHING IS IN COMPLIANCE, PLEASE CONTACT THE OFFICE TO DISCUSS IT WITH THE PRINCIPAL OR BRING IT IN FOR INSPECTION PRIOR TO WEARING.

Soccer Finale Night! Oct 5th at the KC Hall All are welcome!
Please join us for a fun night to end our soccer season. Our 1st & 2nd grade soccer players will show us what they have learned this season. We’ll also recognize our 8th graders and their parents as they end their Hornet Soccer Career. It’s sure to be a fun evening! Flyer is in this week’s Friday Folder.

Protecting God’s Children (PGC) Classes:
ANY parent/guardian who may coach, want to be a field trip chaperone, classroom helper (room parent), playground supervisor or lunch helper MUST complete the Protecting God’s Children program plus have a Background Check processed. This is in accordance with the Safe Environment policy of the Springfield Diocese. We may be contacting you to resubmit a background check as they are good for only 5 years.

YOUTH GROUP NEWS:
Youth Group is sponsoring a collection for the Feast of St. Vincent De Paul. We are asking that each classroom contribute the following items: Preschool: Shampoo, Kindergarten: Conditioner,
1st grade: Toilet Paper, 2nd grade: Paper Towels, 3rd grade: Dish Soap, 4th grade: Toothpaste,
5th grade: Body Soap, 6th grade: Deodorant, 7th grade: Tooth Brush, 8th grade: Mouth Wash
On Thursday, September 27, the Feast of St. Vincent De Paul, the youth group will collect all items from the classrooms to take over to the St. Vincent De Paul pantry in Morris Hall.
