Cub Scout News
This Sunday, Feb 8, is Scout Sunday. If you are a Cub Scout or a Boy Scout, please wear your scout uniform & attend 10:30 Mass & join us in celebrating Scout Sunday. We will not be processing in as a group nor sitting together formally (You may if you wish). Even if you are a cub or boy scout with another pack or troop, please join us this Sunday. Hope to see you there!
Boy Scout Troop 1086 is hosting an All You Can Eat Chili Dinner on Sunday, Feb 8 at Holy Cross from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Carry outs are available. Adults $7, Children age 5-12 $4.
Student Council News
Now through Tuesday, Feb 10th, Student Council will be taking orders in the cafeteria during all lunch periods for Valentine Candy grams. Candy Grams are 2 for $1.

Pro-Life Dinner & Silent Auction, Sunday, 2/22/15
The annual Pro-life Dinner and Silent Auction-Fundraiser in support of “A Beacon for Life” (ABL) will be held at the Collinsville Knights of Columbus Hall on Sunday, February 22, 2015 beginning at noon. ABL is a pregnancy crisis center offering services to families in need, encouraging and helping them to deal successfully with carrying babies to full term and birth. This event provides the largest share of the funds for the operation of ABL. Your help is needed to assure another year of Pro-Life work by this wonderful organization. Ticket cost is $25.00 each. If you are not able to attend, please consider purchasing one or more tickets as a donation to ABL. In this instance, donations are tax deductible. Checks for the purchase of tickets should be made to Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Contact Bob Connolly at (618) 580-9685 or Herman Wenos at (618) 344-4108 for more information.

Any parent/guardian who may coach, want to be a field trip chaperone, classroom helper (room parent), playground supervisor or lunch helper MUST complete the Protecting God’s Children program plus have a Background Check processed. This is in accordance with the Safe Environment policy of the Springfield Diocese. We may be contacting you to resubmit a background check as they are good for only 5 years.
