Empower IL Application 2019-2020: 
The application process for the 2019-2020 school year will open on January 15, 2019 at 7:00pm. 
Empower IL is a statewide scholarship program that was started in 2017 to help families with the cost of tuition for grades K-12. For the 2018-2019 school year, this scholarship program helped 10 of our SSPP families with awards totaling $47,730! We encourage everyone to apply for this wonderful opportunity for our students and their families. 

Accelerated Reader (AR/IXL Store) 
The AR/IXL store needs your help! Now that Christmas is over, does your family have any gifts that you would want to donate to the AR/IXL store? New or gently used stuffed animals (large or small). New Nerf balls, games, small items (key chains, purses, party favors). Please send in your items marked AR Store as soon as possible and the office will then contact the AR committee. Your help is much appreciated!

Hornet sweatshirts!! 
We have sweatshirts for sale in Youth Medium, Adult Small, Adult Medium. There are a few sample sizes in the school office. Youth Large & Youth Extra Large Sweatshirts have been ordered and will be available soon. Sweatshirts are $20. SEND ORDERS TO THE OFFICE WITH PAYMENT & SIZES MARKED “SWEATSHIRTS”. CASH OR CHECK PAYABLE TO “SSPP ATHLETICS”. GO HORNETS! 

Life Savings School Grant Program 
Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic School will hold a Blood Drive on Sunday, January 13th, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. This Program offers grant dollars to qualifying schools to be used for payment for education expenses. For guidelines and eligibility, see application at www.bloodcenter.org/lifesavings

Basketball/Volleyball Pictures, Sunday, January 20th, noon – 1:30 p.m. 
Yearbook pictures for all basketball and volleyball teams will be on Sunday, January 20th from noon – 1:30 p.m. For all basketball teams, please make sure your player has clothes to change into as you will return your uniforms that day. 

Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time and check in with your coach.
