Principal’s Notes

Please keep in mind our SCRIP program for your holiday shopping. I know from personal experience that gift cards beat standing in line for Christmas shopping. The quicker that you return the form, the quicker we can get it ordered for you. Our Scrip sales have been steadily rising. There will be a Scrip flier in tomorrow’s Friday Folder. Please take a look at the merchants.

I would like to remind you of a change in our school cancellation policy. We will no longer automatically close when Unit 10 does. We will follow Unit 10 when snow and/or ice is the cause. We will close for extreme cold only when the wind chill is lower than -25 degrees. The latchkey and preschool will be closed if the school is closed.

The Advent season is approaching. That is the start of the Church calendar year. Now is the time to renew your commitment to the faith. If you don’t attend Sunday Mass, resolve to take your child(ren) every week. The students are very candid about their Mass attendance. We need your help in teaching the tenets of our Catholic faith to your children.

Our annual auction is Saturday night. I want to thank in advance Jessica Runnalls and Mary Boehne for their work as co-chairs. Also thanks to all of the parents who put in countless hours to make this night such a success. We would not have been able to add the one-to-one Chromebook technology without the success from the auction.

I am sure that everyone who attends will enjoy the evening. Thank you for your generosity in advance. If you are unable to attend, you can still donate to the Raise Your Paddle fund. You can send the donation to the school office in an envelope marked Raise Your Paddle. You will get a donation statement.

Chromebooks
This is an advanced notice that all student Chromebooks will be collected on December 17th. We will be checking the devices for damages and applying updates. Students should have the device, charger, and case on that date. The students will get their Chromebooks back on January 4th. We will be evaluating each part for quality and how well they have held up.

Kudos To
Our basketball coaches for their many hours spent serving our student-athletes.
