The annual Blessing of the Pets will be Friday, October 3rd at 1:40 p.m. near Morris Hall. We welcome all controllable pets-big or small. All pets should be leashed or caged. The students will come out at 1:30 p.m. and they can leave with you after the blessing. Please let the teacher know that they are going home with you.
Starting Monday, we will collect cat and/or dog food, treats, etc. for a school donation to ARF. All students who bring a donation will receive a dress down day pass to be used during October.
All students who will be playing any sport at SSPP must have a current physical on file with the office. Coaches are instructed to not allow any student to practice without a physical. Registrations are now due for basketball. Coaches will be receiving copies of their players’ physicals. Students also must adhere to the school policy about grades. Please refer to the Handbook.
Don’t forget the Green and White game next Friday evening at 6 p.m. We will honor our 8th grade team members. I am doing the Ice Bucket Challenge at halftime. Students need to bring their donations to school next Monday through Friday. I will have them put in one cup of water per dollar donation in a bucket near the office. It will take 550 cups of ice/water to fill the Gatorade bucket.
KUDOS To
