With events happening in the world and in the United States, schools are required to have Intruder Drills during the school year. On December 12th Jason Ramert and his team from the Illinois State Police will be instructing and conducting a simulated Intruder Drill with the faculty and staff of the school and parish. It will take place at school for four hours. Students will be dismissed at 11:15 am on December 12th. I am very grateful to Jason and his team to give of their time to help our faculty and staff learn what is expected of them to keep our students safe in case this should ever happen. There will be no ABC Care that afternoon as the ABC staff will need to attend this workshop as well. Thank you for understanding the importance of this type of instruction.

Auction: What a delightful evening at the Auction last Saturday night! How beautifully decorated were the tables. All the work that went into this lovely evening was greatly appreciated by all I am sure! Many, many thanks to Mrs. Kelley Gaither and Mrs. Jamie Ramert and all the other helpers that made this Auction 2018 such a success!!

Morning Drop-Off – With snowy weather you may see Patrols located in a different area. Please understand that it is because of ice and it may be unsafe for students to get out of the cars. Please drive up to the Patrol so that your passenger side door is even with the Patrol. It makes it much easier for them. Thanks so much!

Mid-Quarter Ends Today, November 16th. Mid-Quarter Reports will be sent home next week in the Green Folders on Tuesday since it is our last day before Thanksgiving Break. Please sign them and return in the Green Folder on Monday, November 26th.

Veteran’s Day Celebration: Many thanks to Ms. Reinhardt and the Student Council Members for such a nice presentation at Mass and then serving the Veterans after Mass with coffee and donuts. Thanks also to the Ms. Popovchak-Erickson and the school choir for their rendition of America sung in the Gathering Space to the Veterans. It was a very nice celebration to the Veterans.

ABC Club – Beginning Monday, November 26th students attending ABC Club in the morning will need to be dropped off at the school office. We are moving the morning care only into the main school building. Mrs. Vojas will be there to meet you and your child.

Only two days next week and then we are on Thanksgiving break!! It is hard to realize that it is that time of the year! Blessings to you and your family,
Miss Kirk
