KC Breakfast
Join friends and family for the Knights of Columbus breakfast on Sunday, January 17, 2016,
9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This month’s breakfast will support Habitat for Humanity.

8th Grade Fundraiser – Bert’s All You Can Eat Taco Bar
Sunday, Jan 17, 2016, noon to 3 p.m. Come help support the 8th grade class trip to Chicago.
Tickets may be purchased in advance, or at the doors on the day of the event.
Adult tickets: $10, Youth (11-12) $7, Children (6-10) $5, Under 5 for a donation.

Cosmic Glo Bingo
It’s only 2 weeks away. Be sure and reserve your table today. The class with the most participation points will receive a “Cosmic Pizza Party” that is sure to have “glowing” reviews. Also, keep an eye out in this weekend’s Friday Folder for a chance to win a Kate Spade wallet, FILLED with Gift Cards (minimum value of $250 and growing). A BIG thanks to all that have already sent in reservations and donations. Your support is greatly appreciated. Hope to see you all on the 29th.

Quartermania
8th grade will be accepting donations in January for their Quartermania to be held Catholic Schools week (Feb.5). Please keep this in mind if you have any leftover gifts from Christmas that weren’t used. Thank You.

Summer Parish Event Planning
We are so excited to invite you to attend a meeting on planning a summer parish event. Since we will most likely have to re-vamp the picnic due to construction we would like your thoughts and comments on what type of parish event would you be interested in attending. The meeting will be in Morris Hall on Monday January 18th at 6:30 PM. Refreshments will be served so come with your ideas and help us make this event great. KC Free Throw Championship
Saturday, January 23, at SSPP gym. Starts at 10 a.m. (doors open at 9:30 a.m.) Free of charge to all who participate. Open to all girls and boys ages 9 to 14 years old (as of 1/1/2016). Please call Paul Proffitt at 618-616-1249 with any questions.

Pantera’s Pizza Fundraiser
The 8th grade class is selling Pantera’s pizza as a fundraiser for their 8th grade class trip to Chicago. If you would like to purchase a pizza or two, the available options are:
Cheese, sausage, or pepperoni for $9 and Combo (beef, mushroom,black olive, onion) for $10.
The pizzas are 14 inches on thin crust, placed on a cardboard circle and shrink-wrapped with cooking instructions. With the exception of the crust, all the ingredients are the same as Pantera’s in Edwardsville uses in their restaurant. If you would like to place an order or have any questions, please send a fast direct to Lauren Weissert or Shelly Webb with your order. Payment for all orders is due by Wednesday, January 20th. Delivery of pizza’s will be Saturday,January 30th just in time for your SuperBowl parties. Thanks for your support.

Super Bowl Board
Mr. Winterbottom will be running a Super Bowl board for this year’s Super Bowl with proceeds going towards the SSPP Athletic fund. Each square cost $20. The board will be available in the office during school hours or by contacting Mr. Winterbottom. Your winning numbers will be sent out through Fast Direct or by e-mail or can also be viewed in the office when it is completed. Winners will be paid in SCRIP and will be as follows: 1st Quarter – $200, Halftime – $400, 3rd Quarter – $200, and Final – $600. Thanks for your support of SSPP’s Athletic Fund.

SSPP Trivia Night- Saturday 2/27/16
SSPP Gymnasium —Doors open at 5:30, Trivia starts at 6:30 p.m., cost is $100/Table of 8 or $15/person

Free Early Childhood Screening
Collinsville Community School District #10 is offering Free Early Childhood/Pre-K Screening for children age 3-5. The dates are 3/18, 4/22 & 4/29 at Meadow Heights Baptist Church. For additional information, contact SSPP school office for a flyer or call the Unit 10 Pre K Program at 346-6301 and ask for Romayne to schedule an appointment.
