Principal’s Notes

SSPP school will be closed this Monday in commemoration of the Martin Luther King holiday.

Thanks to the success of our auction we have purchased sixty Chromebooks to add to the number of grades using one-to-one technology. Next year, each student in grades 4-8 will access work electronically. This continues our march forward in educational technology.

We recently made some changes to the rewards offered in the AR store. We are no longer allowing students to take a teacher to Bert’s for lunch. The distance to Bert’s coupled with the requirements of PGC have caused this change. We replaced the Bert’s option with other food options.

Don’t forget about the early registration option that was unveiled last week. Thank you to the parents who have already committed their students to SSPP for next school year.

Kudos To
SSPP Graduates: Jeremy Erickson, Sophie Akin, and Lexi Horras, who have been named an Illinois State Scholar.

For all of our volleyball coaches who are sacrificing their time and expertise for our students.
