A huge thank you to everyone who helped with our Trivia Night fundraiser that was held last Saturday night. Because of everyone’s efforts, we were able to raise $5,750 for the school! This is outstanding and we are so pleased with the results. It was great to see so many of our families participate, volunteer and contribute towards this school fundraiser.

Important SCRIP News
1) For those with reloadable Shop N Save cards: Starting February 19 any old cards you previously registered will no longer be available to reload on your ShopWithScrip account.
They will still hold their value and still be usable in stores, but will not be reloadable. New cards are now available & are reloadable with a brand new design. Check with LouAnne for details.
2) Spirito’s, The Italian Store, $10 Gift Cards are now available!!! = 10% return for fundraising.
Attention 8th Graders
Fr. McGivney Catholic High School will have their last Griffin Night of 2016! Join students, faculty & staff and meet other 8th graders interested in Fr. McGivney on Tuesday, March 8th, from 6:30 – 8 p.m. in the Griffin’s Nest. The theme is a surprise, but is guaranteed to be fun!! Pizza & Soda will be provided. Have questions: Contact the Fr. Reminder
ANY parent/guardian who may coach, want to be a field trip chaperone, classroom helper (room parent), playground supervisor or lunch helper MUST complete the Protecting God’s Children program plus have a Background Check processed. This is in accordance with the Safe Environment policy of the Springfield Diocese. Background checks are renewed every 5 years.

Poppy Poster Contest
The local American Legion Post 365 is sponsoring a Poppy Poster Contest for grades 4 thru 12. Poster Contest Rules are in the school office for those interested. Entries must be received by March 11.
Birth Announcement
Congratulations to Brandy & Anthony Mitchell (and big brother, Carter) on the birth of a boy, Graysen Alexander, born Wednesday, February 17, at 10:14 a.m. He weighed 6lbs 11oz and was 19 ½ inches long.
