Protecting God’s Children (PGC) Classes:
Thank you to all who have attended the Protecting God’s Children session in the past. As a reminder, you attend the class ONCE but the paperwork and background check needs to be resubmitted every five years. We have received a list of those needing to complete this paperwork. If they are asking you to resubmit you will be receiving the paperwork in today’s Friday folder. Please complete and return at your earliest convenience.
ANY parent/guardian who may coach, want to be a field trip chaperone, classroom helper (room parent), playground supervisor or lunch helper MUST complete the Protecting God’s Children program plus have a Background Check processed. This is in accordance with the Safe Environment policy of the Springfield Diocese. We may be contacting you to resubmit a background check as they are good for only 5 years.
